Great to see F1 recognised with the AMPS - The Association of Motion Picture Sound Award for Excellence in Sound for a Feature Film — thoroughly well deserved.
Having watched it, it’s a superb AV experience. The sound design is immersive, controlled and beautifully judged, giving real weight and realism to the racing sequences.
No surprise coming from the same director and creative team behind Top Gun: Maverick — that same sense of scale, speed and spatial precision is very much present here.
Congratulations to the team at Skywalker Sound and everyone involved. 👏
